In this Naarm (Melbourne) workplace, Warren & Mahoney (WAM) and Greenaway Architects have subtly layered First Nations design throughout.
At reception, visitors are greeted by a translucent curtain featuring Jean Ngwarraye Long’s Native Seeds design in ‘Olive’, on our Commercial Sheer fabric.
Along with work from First Nations artists Illuka Sax Williams and Tommy Day III, our designs help localise the hub, and subtly infuse spaces with Indigenous creativity and storytelling.

“Courtesy of the curative efforts of Willie Weston... the work of Jean Ngwarraye Long’s pattern ‘Native Seeds’ features subtly in the sheer curtain divider behind reception...Lee-Anne Wiliams’ pattern ‘Water Levels’ is woven into the curtain in the parents and multi-faith room, and Kathleen Korda’s pattern ‘Durrmu (KK)’ is incorporated into the wall panels of a presentation room on Level 20.”
